In the Name of God Amen I Jonathan Joyner being sick and weak but of perfect sense and memory do make ordain this my Last Will and Testament first and principally I bequeath my Soul into the hands of almighty God hoping through the merrit Death and Passion of my Saviour Jesus Christ to have full and free pardon of all my Sins and my body I commit to the Earth to be decently Buryed [sic] by my executor hereafter Named. Item: I Give and Bequeath unto my loving Wife Drusilla Joyner three Negros by name Dick Sam and Poll during her life & after her decease then the two Negros by name Dick and Sam to be Equally divided between my Children.
